This is the 2020 Remaster of 2015's "Death on Holiday", originally released on July 4th. - I named this album “Death on Holiday” and released it 4th of July 2015. I named it that because every holiday in Chicago, the murder rate exponentially grows. All the time I spend on the west side, the crime affects the area at a higher rate than other parts of the city, it leaves me stunned sometimes. It hurts. I hate seeing my people tearing each other a part for whatever reason. As much as I rail against systemic racism and police brutality, I’ll always shed light on the things we as a community can make better ourselves. I love y’all! I see the beauty in our neighborhoods and I want everyone else to see we have something real special here. They already take all our style and blow it up 🙃 A local artist, who used to do work for the Jordan era Bulls, did the cover. The biggest stand out is “An Indian”. It’s a real American song about the real Americans who once had it all - pre Trail of Tears, pre John Wayne - juxtaposed with Indian motorcycles and the freedom they provide. Go figure! I’m out enjoy the remaster! ✌🏾🇺🇸
